When entering the temple and participating in Dharma activities, please maintain a respectful and quiet environment.
In the True Buddha School, practitioners cultivate purity of body, speech, and mind and practice reverence toward the Buddha, Dharma, Sangha, Root Guru, and lineage.
When encountering images or statues of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, practitioners may join their palms and bow to pay homage.
Living Buddha Lian-sheng teaches that Buddha images represent the body of the Buddhas, sutras represent the speech of the Buddhas, and pagodas represent the mind of the Buddhas. We therefore respect the Buddha's body, speech, and mind.
Please maintain silence and refrain from unnecessary conversation during the Dharma Assembly.
Please follow the guidance of the presiding Vajra Master and the Dharma assistants.
During the Dharma practice, practitioners may participate in the prescribed practices of the Dharma Assembly, including mantra recitation, mudra, visualization, and Samadhi, according to the particular Dharma practice.
If you are unfamiliar with a particular practice, please follow the guidance provided at the Dharma Assembly.
The Dharma and sutras should be treated with respect.
The True Buddha School teaches that the teachings of the Buddhas are represented by the sutras and Dharma. Practitioners should respect and uphold the Buddhadharma.
True Buddha School disciples vow to pay homage and respect the lineage, honor the Guru, treasure the Dharma, and practice diligently.
The lineage and the Dharma transmission are fundamental to True Buddha School cultivation.
